All doctoral students are provided with a competitive stipend, health insurance and tuition remission.
Students are encouraged to apply for predoctoral fellowships from the National Institutes of Health and the American heart Association. Each year multiple students are selected for these prestigious fellowships.
Students are expected to work full-time toward the completion of the degree requirements. A satisfactory level of performance must be maintained to remain in good academic standing.
Exceptionally qualified students who apply to the program may be nominated for Temple Presidential and University Fellowships. To be considered for nomination, prospective students must submit all application materials by Feb. 15.
