You’ll form expertise in corporate finance, investments, and investment banking financial modeling and decision-making. Expand your skills with integrated data science for finance courses in programming, time series analysis, data visualization and machine learning.

    The Financial Analysis MS kicks off with a two-week finance academy followed by divided semester fall I and II and spring I and II terms. In this way, students benefit from a wider range of contemporary industry topics and unique course sequencing.

    Become a CFA Charterholder 

    The chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation is valued by the global finance industry. The Master of Science in Financial Analysis is a CFA University Affiliated Program accounting for the CFA Level I, II and III Candidate Body of Knowledge in its distinctive curriculum. 

    The program supports sitting for CFA exams during your graduate studies with built-in CFA exam preparation modules and study materials included in the cost of tuition.  

    Students interested in the Financial Analysis MS program are not required to become a CFA. Students have the option to simultaneously pursue the CFA as an added benefit of our innovative program design. Learn more about the CFA program

    Choose Our 10- or 22-month Program

    Accelerate your career with new expertise by completing a master’s degree on a full-time 10-month path. A full-time 22-month path offers extended time for students to explore professional experience or prepare for the CFA exam.

    Part-time students may complete the degree in 22 months. 

    Classes & Curriculum

    An innovative, 30-credit curriculum structure featuring one- to 1.5-credit classes offers the opportunity to sit for multiple CFA exams during your graduate studies and the flexibility to complete the Financial Analysis MS program in the format that fits your needs.

    Admission requirements include a semester coursework in statistics, accounting, and micro and macroeconomics.

    In keeping with Temple’s commitment to access and affordability, this Master of Science offers a competitive level of tuition with multiple opportunities for financial support.

    Tuition rates are set annually by the university and are affected by multiple factors, including program degree level (undergraduate or graduate), course load (full- or part-time), in-state or out-of-state residency, and more. These tuition costs apply to the 2025–2026 academic year.

    Pennsylvania resident: $1,165.00 per credit
    Out-of-state: $1,165.00 per credit

    • Fox Professional Speakers invites students to practice their communication, presentation and leadership skills in a supportive and positive environment.
    • Those with dreams of starting their own business may be interested in the Entrepreneurial Students Association, which aims to support, inspire and encourage students to pursue their entrepreneurial goals. The association is open to students of all majors.

    Fox graduate students can participate in Global Immersions. They are destination-focused learning experiences that allow graduate students to engage with a different country's culture, language and business practices.

    Accreditation

    The Fox School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The school has maintained AACSB accreditation since 1934.
