Biography

Dr. Brian Thomson received his Ph.D. degree from the Pennsylvania State University. During this time, he performed research in dynamical systems, feedback control, signal processing, high power magnetic systems and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). These research developments were implemented and verified experimentally using hardware in conjunction with a high power magnet system at the National High Magnetic Field (NHMFL) laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida. Prior to joining Temple University, Dr. Thomson performed research on navigation systems at the Applied Research Lab, Navigation R&D division.
