Susan Smith joined the Ethics and Compliance team in January 2023 as Interim Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to that, Susan worked for more than two decades as a lawyer in Temple’s Office of University Counsel where she handled a broad array of matters including policy development, complex investigations, regulatory and research compliance, faculty-focused employment matters and environmental health and radiation safety. Susan graduated with a BA from Syracuse University and a JD from George Washington University.
